What I Bought From The LUSH Boxing Day Sale

Every year LUSH has a buy one get one free sale on all holiday items the day after Christmas. Last year I found out about the sale too late and all the good stuff was already sold out, but this year I strategically planned my attack and woke up on Boxing Day with a list of bath bombs to add to my cart. My order finally arrived this weekend (all the way from Canada) so I thought I'd show you all my loot.

Big Bang Bubble Bar
"Start your day off with a bang, not a whimper, and treat yourself to a colorful bubble bath filled with softening avocado butter, zesty grapefruit oil and refreshing lemon myrtle oil. Simply crumble under running water, then lie back and think of yourself in this great expanse of a universe."

*This bar was actually not a holiday item and was therefore full price but I love citrus scents and couldn't place a LUSH order without a bubble bar. Can't wait to try this one!

Lord of Misrule Bath Bomb
"Inspired by the ruler of the Pagan Feast of Fools, Lord of Misrule brings mischievous revelry to the tub with a spicy herbal blend of patchouli and black pepper oil. As it slowly froths in the water, hypnotic swirling silver luster is released and the deep green exterior soon gives way to a rich, wine-colored center. Just like at the Feast of Fools, when the wine begins flowing, the revelry really begins! Popping candies fizz and crackle, creating a world of magic and mischief right before your eyes."

Shoot for the Stars Bath Bomb
"Launch this one in the water and watch it shoot and spin. Stay very still to see the swirling colors of the night sky dazzle in your bathtub. As the calming blanket of shimmering midnight blue unfolds, Brazilian orange and bergamot oils take your skin to heaven as your mood rockets straight up to the stars."

Yog Nog Bath Bomb
"Sweeter than dipping into the cookie jar, this luxurious bomb is sure to warm you up cold, frosty evenings. Spicy clove bud oil stimulates the senses while soy milk powder and organic shea butter create creamy, comforting waters. Luxuriate in comforting toffee soaks with clouds of gold and a touch of luster."

*I actually couldn't resist trying this baby right away. It's the only bath bomb I've used so far from my haul. There's a core of toffee-scented shea butter in the center of the ball (like a mini luxury bath melt) that makes the water incredibly hydrating. My skin felt so soft and moisturized and the sweet toffee scent really lingered on my body.

Golden Wonder Bath Bomb
"Fancy an uplifting cocktail? Cognac and zesty lime oils get this bath party started with mood-brightening scents while sweet orange oil refreshes the senses. In the water, this present-shaped fizzer unwraps itself to reveal glittering golden luster and a sparkling turquoise explosion. Don't wait until Christmas day to bathe yourself in festive luxury!"

Dashing Santa Bath Bomb
"Make a dash for this moving bath bomb with a cheerful and uplifting scent of satsumas at Christmas. Watch Santa fly about your bath as his golden boots fizz away, releasing toning mandarin oil, bergamot oil and orange flower absolute that help put a spring in your step, too."

"Molded into a friendly bear, this bath bomb has a generous helping of cocoa butter to give you the softest bear hug imaginable. It's great for nourishing and protecting skin, no matter how long you stay in the tub, and has the same vanilla fragrance as our Butterball Bath Bomb. The comforting aroma will even linger softly on the skin long after the bath."

*I received one of these little guys for Christmas last year and it's such a moisturizing bath bomb. I have a full review here. If you missed out on the sale but still want to try one, LUSH makes this formula into the Butterball Bath Bomb which is available year round.

That's everything I picked up from the sale! Although I'm an enormous fan of the Rose Jam Shower Gel I abstained from buying it in the sale because I just got quite a bit (huzzah!) for Christmas. LUSH bath product aren't cheap, but the Boxing Day Sale sure made them a bit more reasonable. For me, bath bombs are an awesome way to pamper myself and relax after a tough day. These bath bombs are enormous so I might just be cutting some of them up to get multiple uses out of them. Unfortunately most of these products are no longer available since they were limited-edition holiday releases but there's a ton of other interesting bath products on LUSH's website to suit your pampering needs.
