Monthly Beauty Favorites | November 2015

Though I've been trying lots of new products in the last month, I don't think I'm necessarily ready to call any of them favorites. I have found several lovely new products that have been rocking my socks lately and I thought I'd share them all with you.

Let's start off with a mask that deserves a lot of love. The derma e Exfoliating Mask with Fruit Enzymes is brilliant for really clearing out your pores without leaving your skin feeling parched. I tend to get awful blackheads across my nose and cheeks and this stuff works like a vacuum on my pores. Once I wash it off my face my typically large pores look like they've disappeared! It's magical stuff.

I'm a huge fan of minty bath products, so when Influenster sent me a coupon to try a free C. Booth product I knew right away I wanted to pick up their Triple Action Rosemary Mint Bath, Shower & Hair Wash. This gel body wash smells like mint and cucumber and has a Jello-like texture that creates a great lather. I've used it as both a body wash and bubble bath and it makes for such a refreshing bath experience.

Another minty product I've become obsessed with is the Renpure Solutions Rosemary Mint Cleansing Conditioner. I found this on Target's website recently and it really reminded me of the Wen Cleansing Conditioner which I've wanted to try for months (but at a fraction of the price). This is the kind of 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner product that actually works! It not only leaves your hair feeling fresh and clean but also smooth and hydrated. You do need to use a lot of product for each use (10 to 12 pumps per the instructions) but it's still worth it. Best of all, it didn't dry out or irritate my sensitive scalp!

In terms of makeup, I've really fallen in love with the NYX Slim Lip Pencil in Mauve, which I picked up in a recent NYX haul. It's just the perfect matte mauve shade for my lips. It's creamy, pigmented and very long-lasting. I've also fallen for Essie's Nail Polish in Penny Talk. I'm usually not a big fan of Essie polish because it tends to chip so quickly and apply unevenly on me but this color is just perfection! It's a gorgeous, metallic combination of copper and rose gold that looks like a newly minted penny. It applies so opaquely that you could probably get away with just one coat. The lasting power isn't too impressive (my tips chipped within a day) but it's the perfect shade for the holiday season.

My final beauty favorite for November is actually a brush that has been a mainstay in my makeup routine since I received it in an Ipsy bag several months ago. I just can't do my eye shadow without my Luxie Rose Gold Tapered Blending Eye Brush. It's fluffy and soft, and the perfect shape and density for diffusing and blending the edges of my eye shadow. It's amazing for fading out your crease color. I can't believe I haven't mentioned it before in a favorites post because I use it every day!

Not a groundbreaking favorites post but these are the products I've been loving in the last month. I can promise my December favorites will have some pretty interesting new makeup finds so be on the lookout for that. What have you been loving using lately? Anything new I should check out?
