My Current Beauty Wish List

Since my birthday is coming up and I've been cultivating a bit of a wish list for myself, I thought I'd share the products I'm currently coveting with you all.

  • Kat Von D Tattoo Liner - I've heard it's the BEST liquid liner and mama needs all the help she can get in that department. Liquid liner is definitely not my forte but I really want to get into wearing it on a regular basis.
  • Jouer + Beautyblender Perfectly Primed Collection - I'm an enormous fan of the Jouer Matte Moisture Tint and this Birchbox exclusive kit gives you a full-size tube, along with a mini primer, a Beautyblender and a Beautyblender Solid Cleanser for LESS than the price of the tinted moisturizer itself! Who doesn't love a deal like that?
  • Colour Pop Lippie Stix in Lumiere - Everyone on Instagram has been raving about the insane pigmentation of Colour Pop's products. For drugstore prices you get some amazing quality products. I think this color is the perfect combo of rose and mauve. Need it!
  • Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer - I just ran out of my Nars Creamy Radiant Concealer and have heard that this one is very similar but feels even lighter on the skin. This baby is coming home with me.
  • Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen in Black Cocoa - I've wanted this liner for months because of the way it glides on and doesn't budge. Plus, that rich cocoa color will work great with my dark eyes.
  • Colour Pop Blush in Birthday Suit - Another product from Colour Pop that gets rave reviews. How gorgeous is that color?
  • Charlotte Tilbury Film Star Bronze & Glow - Sigh. This beauty is so expensive but the colors, quality and packaging are just so breathtaking. It gets so much hype and love from the blogging community and I want it oh so very much.
  • Barry M Speedy Nail Paint in Pit Stop - I've been looking for the perfect pale grey polish with a touch of lilac in it and this seems like a perfect match. Though we can't get Barry M in the US there are a couple of British sites that carry it and will ship to America.
  • MAC Lipstick in Patisserie - Another beauty blogger favorite, this is the ultimate nude/pink lipstick, with a touch of shine. The perfect everyday lip color. Plus, I don't actually own any makeup from MAC as of yet and that needs to be rectified.
  • Maybelline Lash Sensational Waterproof Mascara - I'm a big fan of Maybelline mascaras and have heard that this one is great for curl. I want to give it a try and see if I can find something that tops my beloved Maybelline Colossal Cat Eyes

  • Origins Original Skin Renewal Serum with Willowherb - This serum is specially formulated for women in their late twenties that want to start combating and preventing signs of aging. I need this in my routine!
  • Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Eye Cream - Seeing a trend here? I want an eye cream that'll fight signs of aging around my eyes and reduce my dark circles. I've heard great things about this one and am willing to give it a go.
  • Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser Starter Kit - People rave about this cleanser and how soft it leaves your skin. This Birchbox exclusive kit includes a case and two muslin cloths as well. A perfect skincare gift!
  • Forever 21 Love Bites Makeup Case - Between the pastels, that shark print and the pun, this case is a winner. It's too cute for words and even though I'm swimming in makeup bags this one deserves a home in my collection.
  • Bumble & Bumble Hairdresser's Invisible Oil Primer - I've owned and used up a small bottle of this and absolutely love it! It makes my hair so soft and smooth and makes styling a breeze.
  • Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate - I've sampled this oil in the past and it has a lovely lavender scent that's so soothing and it leaves your skin glowing when you wake up in the morning.
  • Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay - I love a good clay mask and this one is a cult favorite that I'm itching to try. Plus, it's incredibly affordable.
  • Insta Natural Hyaluronic Acid Serum - Another product I heard about through Instragram. Although I've used and loved toners and cleansers with hyaluronic acid in them, it never crossed my mind to use a serum. I think this would be a great nighttime serum that would moisturize and help fight signs of aging. And once again, it's incredibly affordable compared to your typical anti-aging serums.

So those are the products I've currently got my eye on. Anything on this list you've tried or want for yourself? Any recommendations? I'm always open to suggestions.

  1. I love LOVE the Kat Von D liner. It's pretty much holy grail for me, and my only desire is to find a cheaper, drugstore dupe. It's great for beginners since the line starts off as so delicate, but its also perfect for dramatic liner as well as tightlining, etc.

  2. The blogs you produce are full of knowledge and authentic and relevant information. I like your style and it is easy to understand. Keep it up I will surely come again to increase my knowledge.
