February Ipsy Glam Bag Reveal & Review

My February Ipsy bag arrived over a week ago and I was definitely feeling the love in this month's #IpsyLove themed bag. I've been testing everything out ever since it came in the mail so here's the breakdown of what I got and what I thought.

ModelCo Blush Cheek Powder (in Cosmopolitan)
This blush is the perfect pink color to perk up your cheeks and add some life to your face. It has a very powdery feel, without being chalky. The pigmentation is good and the longevity of wear is pretty decent. It has some lovely, compact and sturdy packaging. Nothing to sneeze at but probably not my favorite blush in my collection.

City Color Cosmetics Creamy Lip Stain (in Flirtini)
City Color's Creamy Lip Stain applies thick, with a touch of shine, and dries into a lovely matte liquid lipstick. It's extremely pigmented which makes it a little tricky to apply unless you have a very steady hand. But the color is gorgeousa mid-toned roseand it's unlike anything I have in my collection. The longevity wasn't phenomenalabout 3 to 4 hoursbut it faded in a way that wasn't patchy or super obvious and still left a similarly-colored stain in its place.

Emite Make Up Professional Eyelash Curler
When I saw the spoilers of what was going to be in the February Glam Bags I knew right away I wanted this lash curler. I'm a big advocate for curling your lashes and this one looked fantastic. Plus, with a value of $25 I thought it must be way better than my cheapy $1 curler. Unfortunately, it just didn't wow me. It's supposedly ergonomically designed to reach every lash but I felt like even more lashes went uncurled than usual. This curler didn't top my e.l.f. Essential Eyelash Curler but I think it did put less direct pressure on my lashes which resulted in a more natural-looking curl. I also appreciated that the curler came with three extra replacement pads. Good looking out, Emite.

Mitchell and Peach Fine Radiance Oil
I've been using this oil to moisturize my skin every night before bed and unlike most face oils it hasn't made me break out and I haven't woken up with an oil slick on my forehead. It has a light texture and absorbs quickly, with a delicate, almost imperceptible but pleasant scent. Does my face look more radiant the next morning? Nah. But like I said, finding a face oil that doesn't break me out is a win in itself.

Eva NYC Up All Night Volumizing Spray
This was probably my very favorite thing from the whole bag. Although it didn't add a ton of volume, this spray is amazing for texturizing. It adds a beautiful beachy wave to my hair without that disgusting, gunky feel you get with salt sprays. I haven't really used it as a heat protector yet but it works great in both wet and dry hair. Plus, this stuff smells amazing! I loved it so much that I already bought a full size bottle, which is really the biggest endorsement I can give a product.

I even FINALLY got to use my IpsyMe points towards a 500 point perk: the Real Techniques Fine Liner Brush. I haven't tried it yet as I don't have any gel or cream liners but I'm a huge fan of Real Techniques (as my makeup brush collection will tell you).

The hot pink and white graphic pouch is probably not something that I would have chosen but it is cute and I like the shape and size. It's perfect to just toss in your purse and go. Overall, I think this bag was one of my favorites in the past few months. I have a feeling I'll get some good use out of most of the items and I even discovered a new love in the Eva NYC Volumizing Spray. Good job, Ipsy. Now keep it up.

What did you ladies get in your Ipsy bags? Any new products you're in love with?
